$60 for Final Fantasy XIII Chinese Version

OK, I'm about to pull the trigger on a Chinese Version of Final Fantasy XIII for PS3, which has Japanese language with selectable English subtitles.

I don't know jack about PS3, but from what I see, there does not seem to be a way to play ripped/burned games. I am also guessing that those nifty guys in the Chinese plaza with the games in the little plastic sleeves won't have this game available (especially with japanese dialog w/ english subs). Is this correct?

That being the case, anybody see any reason why I should not pull the trigger on it? And yes, I know it's super linear, but I play FF's for the story anyway so hopefully it won't bug me.
