The way I use Energy drinks is to drink one of them in the evening (maybe after dinner) while you still have some energy left. This will help you to stay up longer and study or play longer. You don't drink them if you are already tired. They will be useless for you by that time. I also like to drink coffee instead, I think a medium cup of regular coffee after dinner can help (no lattes or Frapuchinos those are useless) you stay up longer.
